About Talisman Maiton

The 54.2m Talisman Maiton is a steel-hulled, aluminium-superstructure motor yacht built by Proteksan Turquoise in Turkey. Dubois Naval Architects handled her naval architecture, and H2 Yacht Design shaped the interiors. Launched in 2006 and refitted in 2012, with a further refurbishment in 2025, she charters for up to 12 guests across six cabins.

Her main-deck layout puts both the master suite and the VIP cabin on the same level as the main salon, an unusual arrangement for a yacht her size that adds real privacy. She suits a family charter in the western Mediterranean just as well as a longer run between the Balearics and the Adriatic.

Guest Accommodation

Six cabins split across two decks aboard Talisman Maiton. The master suite and VIP cabin occupy the main deck, keeping the principal accommodation away from the busiest guest traffic, with four more below split evenly between double and convertible twin layouts, the twins set up with a pullman berth when a third guest needs the room. Total guest capacity is 12.

Interior styling mixes Art Deco lines with Asian-influenced detailing, and no two cabins are styled identically. The master suite adds its own office/study, a dressing room and an en-suite bathroom with a jacuzzi bath, and a crew of around 13 covers service, housekeeping and watersports for the length of the charter.

Onboard Amenities

Talisman Maiton’s sun deck ranks among the largest fitted to a yacht her size. A jacuzzi set into the forward section doubles as a lookout point over the bow, screened from the wind by low glass panels, while a raised platform further aft gives guests a quiet spot to watch the sun go down over dinner. Zero-speed stabilisers keep her steady at anchor.

Aft, a curved sofa anchors the sky lounge, which opens straight out onto the bridge deck for guests who want air without leaving the group, and a covered bar sits amidships for drinks out of the sun. There’s also a fully equipped gym for guests who want to keep up a routine while on charter, plus Wi-Fi and air conditioning throughout.

Cruising Performance

Talisman Maiton’s current charter programme covers the western Mediterranean, including Corsica, the South of France and Sardinia and mainland Italy, as well as Croatia and Montenegro further east.

She also spends time in the Balearic Islands, taking in Ibiza, Mallorca and Menorca, which gives charter guests an unusually wide range of itinerary options for a yacht this size. Winter charters run on request rather than a fixed seasonal programme.

Power comes from twin Caterpillar 3512B engines, with a cruising speed of around 12.5 to 14 knots depending on load and conditions, and a top speed of 16 knots. Her steel hull and aluminium superstructure, combined with at-anchor stabilisers, give this motor yacht a notably stable ride in exposed anchorages.

Toys & Water Equipment

For getting ashore and exploring faster, Talisman Maiton carries a 13.9m Axopar chase tender alongside a smaller 4m Vanguard rescue boat. The watersports locker runs to a pair of Yamaha waverunners, two SeaBobs and a Fliteboard for guests after something more adrenaline-driven, plus inflatable paddleboards, inflatable kayaks and a six-person Jobe lounge for calmer days, with fishing and snorkelling gear rounding things out.

She also holds RYA-approved training centre status for personal watercraft, letting crew run structured watersports tuition rather than just handing guests the equipment.
