About Alva

Alva is a 197 ft (60 m) motor yacht delivered in 2026 by Amels, the Vlissingen-based Damen Yachting brand, as the eighth hull in the Amels 60 Limited Editions series. She was sea-trialled and launched in autumn 2025, with a naming ceremony at the shipyard’s Vlissingen facility ahead of her formal delivery the following year.

The clean exterior lines and trapezoid-shaped windows that mark her out as an Amels 60 come from Espen Oino, while Harrison Eidsgaard is behind an interior that leans toward a quiet, residential atmosphere rather than overt superyacht styling. Christie Yachts, acting as central agent, lists accommodation for up to 12 charter guests across six cabins.

Her summer 2026 program runs through the western and central Mediterranean, with time scheduled along the French Riviera, in Italy, and across the Balearic Islands before the season continues into Greece. She then repositions to the Caribbean for winter 2026-27, a seasonal swing typical of yachts built for year-round chartering.

Design and Performance

Alva is built to Damen Yachting’s naval architecture with a gross tonnage of 853, and runs on a hybrid MTU propulsion system, giving her a top speed of 15.5 knots, an eco-cruise speed of 14 knots, and a near-silent electric mode up to 7 knots for maneuvering in anchorages or marinas.

Range extends to 4,500 nautical miles at 13 knots, enough to cover her annual Mediterranean-to-Caribbean repositioning without additional fuel stops. That slower electric mode suits a quiet start or finish to an evening at anchor, a practical feature for island-hopping itineraries through destinations such as Greece.

Guest Accommodation

Six cabins sleep up to 12 guests. The owner takes the full main deck, where a fold-down balcony panel opens the suite out to the sea; the remaining layout comprises a VIP suite, two fixed double cabins, and two cabins that convert between double and twin configurations, each equipped with a Pullman berth for extra sleeping flexibility.

A crew of 12 runs the yacht, a figure confirmed by her central agent Christie Yachts.

Onboard Amenities

A 162 sqm sundeck is the social hub, built out with a spa tub, loose seating, a semi-enclosed gym tucked to one side, and an outdoor cinema setup for evenings at anchor. Guests also have access to an RYA-certified watersports center for organized water-toy sessions.

At water level, the full-beam beach club adds a sauna and en suite bathroom just steps from a netted swim pool and a 10 x 9 m inflatable sea raft rigged off the swim platform, so guests can get in the water without leaving the yacht. An 8.6 m Pascoe Beachlander and a second support tender cover guest transfers and water-toy logistics.
