Motor yacht 5 Aces is a 28.65m/94′ planing yacht built in 2015 by the Italian shipyard Amer Yachts (Permare) in Sanremo. She was the debut hull in the Amer 94 series, launched under the name Baccarat before taking on her current identity. 5 Aces accommodates up to 8 guests across 4 cabins, cared for by a crew of up to 4.

Naval architecture on 5 Aces comes from designer Massimo Verme, who shaped her all-GRP fast-planing hull, while Stefano Tini styled the interior. As hull number one in the Amer 94 line, she set the layout that later sisterships would follow, pairing a full-beam owner’s cabin with a genuinely sporty turn of speed for a yacht her size.

The result is a motor yacht that feels more agile underway than many production yachts in the same size bracket.

Guest Accommodation

5 Aces sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 cabins: a main-deck master suite that spans her full 6.3m beam, a VIP cabin, a double cabin and a twin cabin. Between them the cabins offer 5 beds, including 3 queen-size doubles and 2 singles, each with en-suite facilities.

The layout keeps the owner’s suite on the main deck for easy access, with the remaining crew and guest cabins arranged below. This configuration works well for families or groups who want a mix of privacy and proximity, and it keeps interior circulation simple even with all 4 cabins occupied.

Design and Performance

5 Aces is powered by three Volvo Penta IPS units producing 900hp apiece, driving her all-GRP planing hull to a comfortable 22-knot cruise with a top speed in the high twenties. At 19 knots she has a range of roughly 750 nautical miles from her 7,000-litre fuel tanks, useful for longer passages between anchorages without a refuelling stop.

An onboard stabilization system reduces roll at anchor and underway, adding a noticeable level of comfort for a motor yacht built for speed. Combined with her triple-engine IPS setup, it makes 5 Aces a practical choice for guests who want quick point-to-point cruising without sacrificing a settled ride, whether covering ground between islands or simply making the most of a shorter charter week.
