About About Time
About Time is a 40.01-meter (131-foot) motor yacht built by British shipyard Sunseeker in 2010, with naval architecture by Don Shead and interior and exterior styling by Sunseeker’s own design team. She sleeps up to 12 guests across six cabins and carries a crew of up to eight. Among motor yachts in the 40-meter class, she stands out for her full-beam master suite and family-friendly cabin mix.
Her current charter program centers on the Bahamas for the 2026 summer season, with winter 2026-2027 availability also listed, though the winter cruising location was still to be confirmed at the time of writing. The semi-displacement GRP hull and twin MTU diesels give her a useful turn of speed for island-hopping, and her layout suits guests who want generous living space without stepping up to a larger superyacht.
Guest Accommodation
About Time accommodates up to 12 guests in six cabins: a full-beam master suite with a king bed, four double cabins with queen beds, and one twin cabin with two single beds. For groups weighing up how many guests a yacht this size can comfortably sleep, the twin cabin adds flexibility for families traveling with children or solo guests in the party.
The master stateroom spans the full beam of the yacht and includes its own study, a separate dressing room, and a his-and-her en suite bathroom. For a yacht of this length, the layout is genuinely spacious. The mix of double and twin cabins makes About Time a practical choice for families or groups of couples traveling together.
Onboard Amenities
About Time’s sun deck centers on a jacuzzi, sunpads, and an exterior bar. Her stabilization system covers both anchorage and underway conditions, which keeps the deck comfortable through the day. Guests have Wi-Fi connectivity throughout and air conditioning across all interior spaces.

Cruising Performance
About Time’s semi-displacement fiberglass hull keeps her stable at speed while still allowing an easy turn of pace when guests want to cover ground. Twin MTU diesels push her to a cruising speed of 13 knots and a reported top speed in the mid-20-knot range, with roughly 1,500 nautical miles of range at reduced cruising speed.
That combination of range and speed is well suited to covering meaningful distance between anchorages through the Bahamas’ Out Islands, Abacos, and Exumas, rather than staying tied to a single base for the week.
Toys & Water Equipment
About Time carries a wide-ranging water toy selection, including two Jet Skis, Sublue underwater scooters, wakeboards, water skis, and a towable inflatable. Paddleboards, snorkeling gear, and fishing equipment are also onboard for guests who prefer a quieter pace on the water.
- 2 x Jet Skis
- 2 x Sublue underwater scooters
- Wakeboards and water skis
- Inflatable towable
- Stand-up paddleboards
- Snorkeling and fishing equipment
For tenders, About Time carries a 9.02-meter (29-foot) Jupiter Marine chase tender alongside a 5.79-meter (19-foot) Aquascan tender, covering both guest transfers and watersports support.
