About Alfa Nero

Alfa Nero carries an 81.27m/266’8″ length overall, built by Oceanco in 2007 and refitted in 2024. Over the years she has collected a string of industry design awards, and she takes up to 12 guests in 6 cabins with a crew of 26 to run the yacht. Alberto Pinto handled her interior.

Space is the headline on board: wide decks run the length of the yacht, built for groups who want room to spread out rather than a compact, intimate layout. On-board facilities run to a dancefloor, beauty salon, spa treatment room, an elevator connecting decks, a beach club, and a gym.

The design studio Nuvolari Lenard drew Alfa Nero’s exterior, and the standout feature is the aft-deck pool, which was one of the first of its kind when she launched. At the push of a button it rises to deck level and becomes an entertainment area with a bar and banquette seating, a format since copied on many later superyacht builds.

Inside, Alberto Pinto’s design favors clean, neutral tones accented with pop-art pieces throughout the main living spaces, a departure from the classic dark-wood look common on yachts of her era. A central staircase coils around a glass-walled lift that connects the decks.

Guest Accommodation

Her 6 cabins hold up to 12 guests: a master suite with a separate study and dressing room attached, two VIP cabins, and three twins. A crew of 26 handles service, a high ratio that matches the scale of the yacht and her long amenity list.

Onboard Amenities

Along with the dancefloor and beach club, Alfa Nero has a dedicated sauna and a gym kitted out for a proper workout, not just a token treadmill. A deck jacuzzi sits apart from the main pool area for guests who want quieter time outdoors, and Wi-Fi plus air conditioning cover the full yacht.

Cruising Performance

Her hull is steel with an aluminum superstructure, a full-displacement design that favors interior volume and a steady ride at anchor over outright speed. Twin MTU engines push her to a 14-knot cruise and a 20-knot top speed, with enough fuel capacity for a long ocean passage. Charter season typically runs Mediterranean in summer and Caribbean in winter, the kind of seasonal migration a long-range motor yacht like Alfa Nero is built for.

Toys & Water Equipment

Five jet skis and two Seabobs cover the faster end of her toy inventory, with paddleboards, waterskis, a wakeboard, and kayaks for a slower pace. Three tenders travel with her, the largest a 13.5m/44’3″ Vanquish Yachts chase boat used for longer excursions away from the main yacht.
