About Aquarius
Aquarius is a 150.1 ft (45.8 m) motor yacht built by the Turkish yard Mengi-Yay, launched in 2016 and refitted in 2025. She should not be confused with the considerably larger 302 ft (92 m) Feadship AQUARIUS delivered the same year, a different vessel entirely, built by a different yard at more than double the length. Ginton Naval Architects designed her exterior, stacking the layout across three decks and wrapping it in multiple balconies plus a sea-level beach club that extend the living space outward. Charter guests number up to 10, housed in five cabins, with nine crew running the operation.
The interior favors clean, contemporary styling, with large windows on the main and upper decks keeping guests connected to the water. The exterior layout is built around multiple balconies and a sea-level beach club rather than a conventional single aft platform. Aquarius suits families or groups who want generous outdoor living space without stepping up to a much larger yacht, and her East Mediterranean base makes her a practical choice for charter guests splitting time between Greece and Turkey.
Guest Accommodation
Guest capacity tops out at 10 across five cabins aboard Aquarius. The full-beam master suite sits on the main deck, with a king bed, a private study and two fixed balconies opening on each side of the stateroom. Three further double cabins and one twin cabin are arranged on the lower deck, each finished en suite.
Every cabin on board has its own private bathroom, which makes the layout practical for families or two to three couples sharing the charter.
Onboard Amenities
Aquarius’s amenities center on her outdoor living spaces. A sizeable jacuzzi sits forward on the foredeck alongside lounge seating and sunpads, while the sundeck above provides a shaded spot to unwind. Zero-speed stabilisers keep the yacht steady both underway and at anchor, a genuine comfort on a charter that spends extended time anchored off Greek islands.
The standout amenity is an approximately 80 sq m beach club at sea level, which opens via fold-out terraces on both sides of the yacht into swimming platforms on either side, effectively creating a private beach for guests at anchor.

Cruising Performance
Aquarius is powered by twin CAT C32 ACERT engines rated at 1,450 hp each. Documented cruising speeds vary somewhat between sources, generally falling between 10 and 12 knots, with a maximum speed cited between 15 and 16 knots.
That performance profile suits island-hopping itineraries around the Aegean and the Turkish coast rather than long open-water passages, keeping transit times between anchorages manageable. A laminated wood-epoxy hull and RINA classification round out a build intended for comfortable medium-range Mediterranean cruising rather than high-speed running.
Toys & Water Equipment
Aquarius carries two tenders for guest use: a 7.2 m (23 ft) Axopar 22 Spyder chase boat and a smaller Extender tender powered by a 75 hp outboard. The onboard water toy inventory includes:
- iAqua motorized water scooters
- Wakeboards
- Paddleboards
Water toy inventories on yachts of this kind are updated between seasons, so guests with a specific toy in mind should confirm current availability with their broker ahead of booking.
