About Araok II
Araok II is a 32.7-meter (107-foot) motor yacht built by French shipyard Ocea and launched in 2023 as part of the Commuter 108 series, with exterior and interior design by Pierre Frutschi. She is one of just four yachts built to this Commuter 108 design, distinguished among motor yachts of her size by a full-displacement aluminium hull built for long-range, fuel-efficient cruising rather than top-end speed.
Her Tier III-compliant engines give her unrestricted access to Emission Control Areas, and a bank of lithium batteries keeps air conditioning and other comfort systems running overnight without generator noise. Charter guests looking for a substantial, modern motor yacht without the formality of a larger megayacht tend to find Araok II a good fit for groups of up to nine.
Guest Accommodation
Araok II sleeps up to 9 guests across 4 cabins: a primary suite, a VIP suite, a further double cabin and a twin cabin with a pullman berth, each with en-suite facilities. The mix of double and twin configurations gives families or groups of friends some flexibility in how guests pair up.
A crew of 3, led by a captain with more than three decades of experience across the Caribbean, Bahamas and Mediterranean, keeps the guest-to-crew ratio comfortable for a yacht of this size. Crew quarters are kept separate from guest cabins, preserving privacy on both sides.
Onboard Amenities
Air conditioning runs throughout, and at-anchor stabilizers keep the deck steady even when Araok II isn’t underway, a detail charter guests notice most during long lunches or sundowners at anchor. A sun deck above the main saloon offers additional lounging space away from the lower decks.
At the waterline, a lowering swim platform doubles as a low-profile beach club, giving guests easy, direct access to the water rather than a ladder-only entry point.

Cruising Performance
Araok II’s aluminium hull and superstructure follow a full-displacement design, so she prioritizes a steady ride and interior volume over outright pace. Her pair of Volvo Penta diesels settle her into a 12-knot cruise, with 15 knots available flat out and enough fuel capacity for around 4,000 nautical miles at a slower 10-knot pace.
That range is well beyond what a typical charter itinerary needs, but it does mean Araok II can comfortably cover longer repositioning legs between island groups without a refueling stop, useful for charter guests planning a multi-region Caribbean yacht charter that strings together several cruising grounds in one trip.
Araok II currently charters in the Caribbean, where her full-displacement comfort and long range suit the region’s established cruising grounds.
Toys & Water Equipment
Araok II carries a solid, family-friendly toy inventory for a yacht her size, suited to guests who want active days on the water without an oversized toy garage to manage.
