The 34.14m/112′ motor yacht Eden, launched in 2007 from the Washington State yard of Westport Yachts, is one of the more recognizable names in semi-custom American motor yacht building. Her charter layout sleeps 8 guests across four staterooms, supported by a crew of 5.

Guest Accommodation

Eden’s four cabins accommodate up to 8 guests: an owner’s suite fitted with a king-size bed and ensuite bathroom, a VIP stateroom with a queen berth, and a pair of twin-bedded rooms well suited to families or groups travelling together.

All four cabins have ensuite bathrooms, and the layout places the twin cabins forward for a degree of separation from the owner’s areas aft.

Onboard Amenities

Eden is fitted with Wi-Fi throughout and air conditioning across all decks, so guests stay connected and comfortable regardless of the season. The flybridge carries a dedicated alfresco dining area and a minibar, while a second dining setup at the stern makes the most of sunset views.

For time on the water, Eden carries two Yamaha WaveRunners, towable toys and a pair of SEABOBs for guests who want to explore beneath the surface. Kayaks, fishing gear and snorkelling equipment round out the collection, giving charter guests a genuine range of options beyond relaxing on deck.

Between the flybridge dining setup and the stern’s sunset-facing seating, Eden gives guests two distinct spots to gather depending on the time of day, a small but useful detail on a yacht this size.

Design and Performance

Eden’s construction pairs a GRP hull with a GRP superstructure and a semi-displacement hull form of the kind Westport’s 112 line is known for. It’s a configuration that balances a comfortable ride with genuine speed rather than trading one for the other.

Twin MTU diesel engines push her to a cruising speed of around 18 knots, with a top speed in the mid-20s when required. Charter guests often notice how quickly she covers ground between anchorages compared with a full-displacement yacht of similar size.

Her draft of just 1.6m is shallow for a yacht this size, letting her tuck into skinny-water anchorages and get closer to reefs and sandbars that would keep a deeper-draft Bahamas-based charter yacht offshore, an advantage she puts to good use from her home port in Nassau.
