About Fortitude 1
Delivered in July 2025, Fortitude 1 is a 44.1m motor yacht built by Benetti in Viareggio, the largest fibreglass yacht the shipyard has built to date, and the latest model in its Class 44M series. Her interior was designed by Giorgio M. Cassetta.
As a brand-new hull from a well-established builder, she arrives on the charter market with current specification and finishes rather than the wear and periodic refits that come with an older vessel, a point many guests weigh alongside an motor yacht’s size and layout.
Guest Accommodation
Fortitude 1 sleeps up to 10 guests across 5 cabins: a full-beam master suite on the main deck with a private study and office, plus three double cabins, one double/twin convertible cabin, and one twin cabin. A crew of 9 looks after guests throughout the charter.
The main-deck master suite with its own office is a notable touch at this size, giving the owner’s cabin a genuinely private work and lounge space separate from the guest cabins below.
Onboard Amenities
A sky lounge with its own bar sits above the main salon, and an expansive foredeck jacuzzi anchors the outdoor social space. Multiple bridge-deck seating and dining areas give guests several distinct spots to gather through the day, backed by satellite communications and Wi-Fi throughout.
Bar- Beach Club
- Deck Jacuzzi
- Satellite TV
- Wi-Fi
Cruising Performance
Twin 1,400hp MAN engines give Fortitude 1 a cruising speed of 14 knots and a maximum speed of around 15 knots, typical for a displacement motor yacht of her size and fibreglass construction.
She cruises the Mediterranean, taking in Croatia, Greece, Corsica, France, Sardinia, and Italy across a typical summer season.
Toys & Water Equipment
A dedicated chase boat handles guest transfers and coastal exploring, backed by a varied water toy inventory:
- Wakeboards
- A waverunner and stand-up jetski
- SeaBobs
- An e-foil
- Kayaks and paddleboards
A beach club with fitness equipment, including space for yoga, rounds out the onboard activity options.
