About Gladius

Cantieri di Pisa delivered the 38.7m (127′) Gladius in 2007, and she went through a refit in 2023 that brought her interior and systems up to date. She charters with a crew of 7 and room for 12 guests, her cabins and two main-deck salons styled originally by Tosa Totaro with warm woods and contemporary furnishings.

Gladius is based in Greece, cruising the Cyclades, the Dodecanese, and the wider East Mediterranean from her home port near Athens. Her layout works well for groups traveling with children.

Guest Accommodation

Six ensuite cabins split into one master, two doubles and two twins give Gladius her 12-guest capacity. The master carries a king-size bed, the doubles are set up as queens, and each twin adds a pullman berth, useful for families bringing younger guests along.

Onboard Amenities

A deck Jacuzzi on the sundeck is one of her strongest features, paired with a full-service bar and shaded lounging space for slower days at anchor. Wi-Fi connectivity runs throughout the yacht and air conditioning covers all guest areas, both worth checking for on a Mediterranean summer charter.

Cruising Performance

Her GRP hull and superstructure keep weight down, and a planing hull shape carries that into real fuel efficiency underway. A pair of MTU diesels gets her to a 16-knot cruise, with 24 knots on tap at full throttle and enough fuel aboard for roughly 600nm between stops at a more economical 15 knots.

Stabilization both at anchor and underway keeps the ride steady, which matters more than it sounds on a week-long motor yacht itinerary hopping between islands.

Toys & Water Equipment

The water toy inventory includes two Seabob F5 underwater scooters, wakeboards, waterskis, kayaks, paddleboards, towable inflatables and snorkelling gear. A Williams Jet Tender handles transfers between the yacht and shore.
