The Grand Ocean charter yacht pairs true superyacht scale with a proven pedigree from Blohm + Voss. At 85.05m (279’), she is arranged for up to 24 guests in 14 cabins, with interiors by Alberto Pinto.

Delivered in 1990, Grand Ocean is built for lifestyle-led cruising across multiple decks. Her volume supports everything from relaxed daytime lounging to formal entertaining, with standout features including a beauty salon, elevator, and gym.

Guest Accommodation

Grand Ocean accommodates up to 24 guests across 14 suites. The cabin arrangement includes five double cabins, six twin cabins, and three single cabins.

Up to 22 professional crew members are on board to ensure smooth operations and attentive service. This layout suits larger groups, including couples, friends, and multi-generational parties.

Life onboard Grand Ocean is designed for comfort and indulgence. Guests can enjoy the onboard beauty salon, unwind in the steam room, or recharge in the sauna after a day on the water. For easy-going moments, the deck jacuzzi is the perfect spot to relax with a drink and take in the view.

Moving between decks is effortless thanks to the elevator, while satellite communications and onboard Wi-Fi keep you connected when needed. Air conditioning throughout the yacht ensures a comfortable environment across different cruising regions and seasons.

Performance & Range

Grand Ocean features a full-displacement design with a steel hull and a steel-and-aluminium superstructure, providing excellent stability at anchor and a comfortable ride underway. Powered by twin Deutz engines, she cruises at 14 knots and reaches a top speed of 18 knots.

At 16 knots, she offers a range of up to 9,100 nautical miles from a 220,000-litre fuel capacity. An onboard stabilisation system further enhances comfort while cruising.

Toys & Water Equipment

Grand Ocean water toys are set up for active days at anchor and easy exploration. Guests can enjoy Jet Skis and two SEABOBs for both surface riding and underwater cruising.

Three tenders support the yacht, including a 3.6m (11’10”) Novurania RIB for quick transfers. This tender setup supports beach drops, port logistics, and watersports operations.

Unique Features

A standout feature on board is her coral-reef aquarium, a striking centrepiece spanning two deck levels that adds a truly distinctive touch to the yacht’s interior experience.

Grand Ocean is already accepting bookings for summer cruising in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, with winter charter availability offered on request.
