About Loon
Loon, formerly known as Icon, is a 68 metre (223’1″) superyacht built by Icon Yachts and delivered in 2010, then given a full refit in 2025. Studio Linse designed the interior and Redman Whiteley Dixon shaped the exterior lines. Built on a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure, she sleeps 12 guests across 7 cabins and carries a crew of 19 for charter.
Guest Accommodation
The master suite spans two decks in a duplex layout and comes with its own study and dressing room, a rare setup even among yachts of this size. A separate VIP cabin, two double cabins, and a single cabin complete the primary accommodation, each finished by Studio Linse in a style consistent with the rest of the interior.
Two further cabins convert between twin and double configurations, giving charter groups flexibility to match the layout to their guest list. Across all 7 cabins Loon sleeps 12 guests in 8 beds: 1 king, 3 queen, and 4 singles, a mix that suits families and groups travelling with children as easily as couples.
Onboard Amenities
Loon’s amenities are built around a beach club at the water’s edge, alongside a gym, sauna, swimming pool, and a jacuzzi on deck. Underwater lights and an advanced stabilisation system add to comfort at anchor, while Wi-Fi and air conditioning run throughout the yacht for guests spending long stretches of the day onboard.
The water toy inventory covers a FunAir inflatable slide, jet skis, waterskis, a seabob, wakeboards, kayaks, fishing equipment, and scuba diving gear, enough variety to keep both active guests and younger children occupied through a full charter week. Four tenders are carried, led by a 7.2 metre (23’7″) Nautique Ski Boat for watersports and guest transfers.
Between the beach club setup and the depth of the toy locker, Loon is set up as much for days spent in the water as for time relaxing on deck. Charter guests with divers or watersports enthusiasts in the group will find the range here covers most requests without needing to arrange outside operators.

The Duplex Master Suite and Performance
The master suite’s two-deck layout sets Loon apart from most yachts in her class. Rather than a single large cabin, the owner’s quarters function more like a private apartment, with the study and dressing room offering space to work or unwind away from the rest of the guest accommodation.
That sense of scale extends to how Loon moves. Twin MTU engines give a 13 knot cruising speed and a 16 knot top speed, and 160,000 litres of fuel carry the yacht up to 6,000 nautical miles on a single load, enough for an Atlantic crossing between the Caribbean and Mediterranean without intermediate refuelling stops.
