About Luz De Mar
Luz De Mar is a 35.29m (115’9″) Azimut Grande 36M motor yacht delivered in 2023, the second hull in Azimut’s Grande 36M series. Her exterior is by Alberto Mancini, with interiors by Salvagni Architetti, and she combines a semi-walkaround upper deck with a tri-deck profile that favors open living space over a traditional flybridge layout.
She was named Best in Show at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in 2023, and the Azimut Grande 36M model was nominated for a World Superyacht Award in the semi-displacement category. Her D2P hull and carbon-reinforced superstructure are designed to cut fuel burn without giving up the performance charter guests expect from this size of yacht.
Guest Accommodation
Luz De Mar sleeps up to 10 guests across 5 cabins: a full-beam master suite on the main deck plus two VIP suites and two further guest cabins on the lower deck. The master suite runs the width of the hull with floor-to-ceiling windows, a dedicated desk and dressing area, and a walk-in wardrobe.
Each cabin has a private ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, a TV, and full Wi-Fi coverage. A crew of up to 8 looks after guests throughout the charter, covering service, housekeeping, and watersports.
Onboard Amenities
The upper deck saloon is the yacht’s main social hub, with sliding glass doors that open the space onto the surrounding decks. A C-shaped sofa and drinks table sit beneath panoramic glazing, while the sun deck above carries a fully equipped bar, a shaded dining area, and loungers for daytime relaxation.
A glass-fronted Jacuzzi sits forward on the upper deck, giving guests an open view over the bow while at anchor. Zero-speed stabilizers keep the ride comfortable in a seaway, and air conditioning and Wi-Fi run throughout the yacht.

Cruising Performance
Twin MTU 16V2000 engines, upgraded to 2,400hp on this hull, give Luz De Mar a cruising speed of 18 knots and a top speed of 24 knots. Her D2P semi-displacement hull and double-chine, wave-piercing bow are built for efficient, comfortable passages between anchorages along her Central America cruising grounds.
Toys & Water Equipment
The beach club at the stern opens onto a hydraulic swim platform with direct sea access, giving guests an easy route from the lounging deck to the water. A side garage stores the onboard watersports equipment, keeping the swim platform clear for relaxing between activities.
Guests have access to a Marlin 42 tender with triple 300hp Yamaha outboards, a Yamaha WaveRunner, a Seabob, water skis, wakeboards, and inflatable towables, along with snorkeling and fishing gear for calmer days at anchor.
