About Magnum Ride
Magnum Ride is a 30.48-meter (100-foot) motor yacht built by Hatteras in 2004 and refit in 2021. She sleeps up to 8 guests across 4 cabins, cared for by a crew of 4, and spends her winters in the Bahamas and along Florida’s east and west coasts before relocating to the northeast United States for the summer season, with pickups available out of Newport.
Her accommodation layout mixes a king, a queen, a double, and a twin cabin, giving charter groups a workable spread of bed configurations rather than a single repeated format. The full-beam master suite carries generous storage along with a his-and-hers bathroom arrangement, while the VIP cabin sits forward of the layout and the remaining two cabins are positioned below deck.
Guest Accommodation
Magnum Ride’s full-beam master suite is the standout cabin, built with extensive wardrobe and storage space plus a separated his-and-hers bathroom. The VIP cabin occupies the forward section of the yacht, and a queen cabin and a twin cabin fill out the lower deck, giving groups of up to 8 guests a practical mix of bed types to divide among family members or friends traveling together.
A crew of 4 manages day-to-day service, from provisioning to housekeeping, throughout the charter.
Onboard Amenities
Magnum Ride’s interior leans into dark varnished wood paneling and detailed joinery, a style that reads as a classic American motor yacht rather than a contemporary minimalist build. The main salon opens onto wraparound windows that keep the water view constant, and a well-equipped galley sits just off the dining area for easy service.
The aft deck is set up specifically for al fresco dining, with a separate, more formal dining space inside for evening meals. A top deck lounge area gives guests a spot to catch the sun with a drink in hand, and the yacht’s layout generally favors a mix of covered and open-air gathering spaces across her multiple decks.
Cruising Performance
Twin MTU 16V2000M91 diesel engines, each rated at 1,800 horsepower, drive Magnum Ride to a cruising speed of 20 knots and a top speed of 24 knots. That performance profile suits her role as a charter yacht that regularly repositions between the Bahamas, Florida, and the US Northeast across different seasons, rather than staying fixed in one cruising ground year-round.
Guests considering a Bahamas yacht charter or a Florida-based charter will find Magnum Ride’s seasonal rotation gives her an unusually wide range of itinerary options compared with yachts that stay in a single region.
Toys & Water Equipment
Magnum Ride carries two WaveRunners, along with paddleboards, floating mats and an inflatable floating island for guests to enjoy on the water. Snorkeling gear and fishing equipment are also onboard, rounding out the options for days spent at anchor.
Scuba diving can be arranged on a rendezvous basis with a local dive operator, since Magnum Ride does not carry an onboard compressor. A full-beam swim platform with a boarding ladder provides easy access for swimming and loading gear between outings.
