About Natalia V

Natalia V is a 45.25m (148’5″) motor yacht built in 1990 by the Italian yard Picchiotti. She is not to be confused with an unrelated 36.58m Palmer Johnson yacht built in 2005, once named simply “Natalia,” which has since changed hands and names (variously referenced as Escape or Escape II); the “V” suffix, Picchiotti’s build, and Natalia V’s considerably greater length all distinguish the two vessels cleanly. Natalia V has been refreshed in stages rather than through a single project: a 2010 renovation came first, a full interior refit in 2022 led by designer Tino Zervudachi, and a further refit in 2024.

She runs a genuine dual-season program rather than staying in one region year-round. Summer finds her in the East Mediterranean, cruising the Cyclades, the Peloponnese and on toward the Red Sea and Middle East, while winter charters shift her across the Atlantic to the Caribbean and Bahamas. Few charter yachts her size keep up two distinct cruising grounds with this much consistency season to season.

Guest Accommodation

Natalia V accommodates up to 12 guests across 5 cabins, with a crew of 9 running the charter. The cabin mix includes double and twin configurations, a workable balance between couples’ cabins and shared berths for family or friend groups.

Some brokers list her at a slightly lower 10-guest capacity, a variance worth flagging but one that does not touch the core layout: the 5-cabin count is consistent across every source. Each cabin has air conditioning and its own en-suite bathroom.

Onboard Amenities

The sun deck is Natalia V’s main gathering space, built around a jacuzzi, comfortable lounge seating and a projector screen for evening movie nights under the stars. A dedicated beach club opens the yacht to the waterline, giving guests easy access for swimming without having to use the main swim platform.

Below decks, charter guests have access to fitness equipment including a treadmill, free weights and yoga mats, useful for keeping up a routine during a longer charter. Wi-Fi and air conditioning run throughout the yacht.

Cruising Performance

Natalia V has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, a construction pairing that favors long-range comfort over outright speed. Twin Deutz engines give her a 13 knot cruising speed and a maximum of around 15 to 16 knots, figures that recur consistently across broker listings.

Her standout number is range: roughly 4,600 nautical miles at cruising speed, enough to make the Atlantic crossing between her two seasons a routine passage rather than a stretch. Electric zero-speed stabilizers keep her steady at anchor, which matters most on the longer overnight stops typical of both her Mediterranean and Caribbean programs.

Toys & Water Equipment

Natalia V carries a wide water toy inventory: two waverunners, two Seabobs, two kayaks, a stand-up paddleboard and a pedal board cover the powered and human-powered options, backed by waterskis, an inflatable waterslide and towables for slower-paced fun.

Scuba and snorkeling gear round out the underwater side, and a 12-metre chase tender gives guests a fast, comfortable way to reach shore or explore nearby anchorages independently of the main yacht.
