Renata Yacht Charter

About

A fire on board in Dubrovnik, Croatia, in 2018 led to an extensive rebuild of the hull originally delivered that same year as K40 and later known as Kanga. The rebuilt yacht relaunched as Renata, completing sea trials in April 2025 and entering the charter market that July.

She remains, underneath the rebuild, the same 2018-built hull that first sailed as K40 and later as Kanga. The yacht carries a gross tonnage of 499, with a beam of nine meters and a draft of 2.6 meters.

Guest Accommodation

Six cabins split into a master, four doubles, and a single twin, together accommodating up to 12 guests. The master has its own private deck, with a separate seating area, a balcony-level Jacuzzi, and an open-air terrace set apart from the guest cabins below.

Onboard Amenities

A sauna sits within the stern beach club, while the sundeck carries its own Jacuzzi, bar, and barbecue station. A projector-equipped outdoor cinema rounds out the entertainment options, a good fit for quiet evenings at anchor in the Adriatic.

Cruising Performance

Renata cruises at 12 knots and has a range of 5,400 nautical miles at 10 knots, enough for longer passages between anchorages. Her charter program is centered on Croatia, with Greece and Montenegro also offered.

This Adriatic-focused itinerary suits her rebuild history: Dubrovnik, where the fire and subsequent rebuild took place, sits within the same cruising region she now operates in. Within a single charter week, the itinerary covers Croatia’s island-dense coastline as well as neighboring Montenegro and Greece.

Toys & Water Equipment

A roughly 10 meter chase tender, driven by twin 300hp Mercury Verado outboards, handles longer excursions, while a smaller 4.2 meter Highfield crew tender with a 60hp Honda engine covers shorter runs. Two Seadoo GTRX RS jet skis and two Seabob F5S underwater scooters round out the powered toys.

Family-oriented extras include wakeboard gear, water skis sized for both adults and children, four stand-up paddleboards, an inflatable kayak, and a towable donut.
