About
Delivered in autumn 2024, Santosha is a 56.7 meter (186 foot) motor yacht and the first hull in Heesen Yachts’ Aluminium FDHF series, built at the Dutch shipyard’s facility in the Netherlands. Her lines are by Omega Architects, with interior work handled by Harrison Eidsgaard.
The yacht was built under the project name Akira before being delivered and named Santosha. She is distinct from her sister hull, Project Evita, which remains a separate, still-in-build yacht. Santosha carries a gross tonnage of 780 and accommodates 12 guests across six double cabins, supported by a crew of 13.
Guest Accommodation
All six of Santosha’s cabins are configured as doubles. Charter groups can mix guest combinations across the full 12-guest capacity rather than being locked into a fixed cabin split. The owner’s accommodation is described as an “owner’s apartment” of roughly 750 square feet that includes its own study, a layout more associated with a private residence than a typical charter suite.
Onboard Amenities
Santosha’s beach club includes a gym and a massage room, opening onto a 29 square meter swim platform at the yacht’s stern. The yacht also has a glass elevator connecting decks and is IMO Tier III compliant, a newer emissions standard than many charter yachts of comparable size meet.

A deck Jacuzzi is also available, along with an onboard RYA-certified training setup for jet skis and waverunners, useful for guests who want to learn rather than simply use the toys unsupervised.
Cruising Performance
Santosha tops out at 22 knots and settles into a 13 knot cruise, covering up to 3,900 nautical miles before refueling. That endurance supports her dual-season program, which runs through Corsica, France, Sardinia, and Italy in summer and the Bahamas and wider Caribbean in winter.
The yacht’s seasonal rate structure reflects this pattern directly: summer Mediterranean weeks are quoted in euros, while winter Caribbean and Bahamas weeks are quoted in US dollars, following standard industry practice for yachts that reposition between regions each year.
Toys & Water Equipment
Water toys include three WaveRunners, two SeaBobs, one eFoil, one kayak, and one SUP, along with inflatable tow equipment, snorkeling gear, and fishing gear. A towed tender and a second tender are also carried, though their specific sizes have not been confirmed.
Combined with the onboard training center, this equipment list suits charter groups with a mix of confident and first-time water-toy users.
