About Sensei
Sensei is a 39-meter (127’11”) motor yacht that Mitsubishi Heavy Industries delivered in 1991. Glade Johnson Design is responsible for her exterior lines, and Jonathan Quinn Barnett handled the interiors. Several refits have followed since: an extension and modernization led by Johnson, a facelift in 2022, and a full hull repaint in 2025. Among motor yachts of her build era, Sensei stands out for spacious, uncluttered deck areas rather than a stacked, modern profile.
Sensei charters year-round across the Western Mediterranean, with a summer base in Nice and cruising grounds extending along the French Riviera, Italy, Corsica and Sardinia. Her full-displacement GRP hull gives her a steady, comfortable motion at anchor, which charter guests who prioritize stability over outright speed tend to appreciate.
Guest Accommodation
Sensei accommodates up to 10 guests across 5 cabins: a master suite on the main deck, two double cabins and two twin cabins. The master suite occupies the forward section of the main deck, giving it a measure of separation from the lower-deck cabins, and includes a sitting area, vanity and a travertine-finished ensuite with underfloor heating. A crew of 7 looks after the charter, with the lower deck holding 2 VIP doubles and 2 further guest cabins.
Each cabin has its own ensuite bathroom, air conditioning and a TV. For groups weighing up how many guests a yacht this size can comfortably sleep, the mix of double and twin cabins suits both couples and families traveling together.
Onboard Amenities
Deck space runs unusually generous for a 39-meter yacht, split across a sundeck lounge, an enclosed upper-deck salon with its own bar, and an aft cockpit seating area. Dining tables are set up both on the sundeck and in the cockpit, so groups can split between sun and shade without crowding either space.
A zero-speed stabilization system fitted in 2024 keeps motion to a minimum whether Sensei is underway or sitting at anchor. Guests have Wi-Fi coverage and climate control throughout the interior, and the beach club platform aft gives direct access to the water toy stowage.

Toys & Water Equipment
Sensei carries a broad water toy selection for her size, built around 2 SEABOBs and an e-foil for guests who want a faster pace on the water. A transparent kayak, 2 paddleboards and a set of JOBE marine scooters round out the lineup, alongside towable inflatables and snorkeling gear for both adults and children.
A 10-meter chase boat handles tenders and shore transfers. The combination of water toys and a dedicated beach club area makes Sensei a practical choice for charter guests who plan to spend as much time in the water as on deck.
