About
Silent Grace is a solar-electric catamaran from Silent Yachts, measuring 18.9 meters (62 feet) and delivered in 2025 as the builder’s SY62 3-Deck model. She runs on 100 percent solar-electric propulsion, two 340kW electric motors drawing from an onboard solar array and battery system, with no engine noise, vibration, or exhaust emissions underway. A backup generator covers extra power demand at roughly 15 liters per hour, but the motors themselves burn no fuel at all.
That propulsion system won the SY62 3-Deck model “Most Efficient Yacht” at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival, and Silent Grace is the brand’s first charter entry into the Mediterranean, debuting for summer 2026. She sleeps 8 guests across 4 cabins, with a crew of 2 to 3 running the boat.
Guest Accommodation
4 cabins sleep up to 8 guests: 3 double cabins plus a fourth convertible cabin, with the master suite set in the port hull. The layout suits a couple traveling with family or friends more than a large group charter, in keeping with the yacht’s size.
Onboard Amenities
A 60 square meter flybridge wraps around 360-degree views, with a dining area, sun pads, a fully equipped bar, and its own helm station. Below, the 50 square meter main salon has wraparound windows and an open-plan galley with a service hatch through to the aft cockpit, where most alfresco meals end up happening.

Cruising Performance
Silent Grace cruises at 7 knots with a top speed of around 12 knots, numbers that reflect her solar-electric drivetrain rather than a conventional diesel catamaran’s performance. Her draft of around 1.3 meters (4 feet) is unusually shallow for a 62-footer, opening up anchorages near the French Riviera and Corsica that deeper-draft motor catamarans cannot reach. That shallow draft pairs well with her near-silent, zero-emission running, which matters most in noise-sensitive protected waters.
Toys & Water Equipment
A Highfield Classic 360 tender handles transfers, backed by four Robosea Seaflyer sea scooters, three Bluefin Cruise Carbon paddleboards, two Spinera Hybris kayaks, and a Jobe Chipper towable. Two telescopic fishing sets and snorkeling gear round out the equipment for guests who want time in the water beyond the usual swim stop.
