About Temptation
Temptation is a 37.49m (123′) motor yacht built by Palmer Johnson in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, and delivered in 2005. Previously known as Finish Line and, before that, Alter Ego, she was designed inside and out by Nuvolari & Lenard. Her interior is finished in cherry wood paneling and Brazilian walnut flooring, giving the salon and cabins a warm, traditional feel.
A 1.5 million dollar refit in 2017, followed by further work completed in 2023, has kept Temptation in excellent condition for charter. She accommodates up to 8 guests in 4 cabins and carries a crew of up to 6, and she is well established on the charter market in Florida and the Bahamas.
Guest Accommodation
Temptation sleeps up to 8 guests across 4 staterooms: a master cabin spanning the full width of the main deck, a similarly wide VIP cabin one level down, and two double cabins that work well for families or groups traveling together. Both the master and the VIP enjoy plenty of natural light and come with private en-suite bathrooms finished in marble with gold-toned fixtures.
Her layout favors sociable living as much as privacy, with an open-plan main salon that functions as the entertainment hub of the yacht, connecting easily to the aft deck dining area.
Onboard Amenities
The sundeck is built around a hardtop-covered lounge with a jacuzzi, sunpads, a wet bar and a dining table, giving guests a shaded retreat with panoramic views. The aft deck doubles as the yacht’s dining space, set with a round teak table and fitted with retractable screens plus air conditioning so warm or breezy evenings don’t get in the way of a meal.
Inside, the salon’s entertainment system includes Bose stereo sound throughout, and guests can expect attentive service from a long-standing, experienced crew familiar with the needs of family and group charters.
Cruising Performance
Temptation has a composite hull and GRP superstructure, driven by twin MTU diesels with a combined output of roughly 3,600 hp. Cruising speed sits around 12 knots, with a top end in the high teens, giving guests the flexibility to cover longer passages between anchorages in the wider Caribbean, particularly the Bahamas. A stabilizer system smooths out the ride both at anchor and underway.
Toys & Water Equipment
Temptation carries a well-equipped toy inventory, including two Yamaha WaveRunners, paddleboards, wakeboards, towable inflatables, waterskis and scuba equipment, giving guests plenty of options for an active day on the water. A 9.7m (32′) Edgewater tender, fully equipped for fishing, handles transfers and excursions with ease.
