About Wally Love
Wally Love is not a gentle old schooner with a story to tell about the way sailing used to be. She is the opposite: a 30.48m (100′) performance sloop built in 2007 by the Italian yard Wally, the brand that spent the 1990s and 2000s rewriting what a modern sailing yacht was supposed to look like.
Flush deck hardware, a carbon composite hull and superstructure, and a hull shape drawn by naval architect German Frers give her the low, taut profile that made Wally’s early designs so recognizable on the regatta circuit. Refit in 2022, she now works as a charter yacht for up to 8 guests without losing the edge that made her a competitive boat in the first place.
Guest Accommodation
Below decks, Wally Love sleeps up to 8 guests in 3 twin cabins, each en suite. The owner’s suite is fitted with two extra large single beds that convert to a king configuration, giving the primary cabin some flexibility depending on the charter party.
The remaining two twin cabins each add a Pullman berth, which is how the yacht reaches her full 8-guest capacity while still keeping every cabin to a comfortable twin layout at its core.
The interior styling, credited to Wally itself, sticks to the same restraint as the exterior: white surfaces, exposed carbon fiber detailing, and a saloon that stays bright without feeling overdressed.
Onboard Amenities
Wally Love carries a furling mainsail system that keeps sail handling straightforward for the crew of 4, along with GPS, autopilot, VHF, a satellite phone, internet connectivity, an onboard entertainment system, and air conditioning throughout.
For time off the sails, Wally Love carries a Novamarine 460 tender with a 40hp Yamaha outboard, a wakeboard, two stand-up paddleboards, and a set of towable inflatables.

Design and Performance
Wally built its reputation on a simple idea: strip a sailing yacht down to what actually makes it fast and good looking, then hide everything else. No visible winches cluttering the deck, no bulky coachroof breaking up the lines, just a clean carbon hull that looks as sharp at anchor as it does under sail. She is built for guests who want a genuine sailing yacht charter experience, not just a boat with masts.
With a beam of 6.8m and a draft of 4.9m, she carries a single Cummins engine (243kW) for auxiliary power, cruising comfortably at around 10 to 10.5 knots and capable of pushing to 12 knots or more when conditions cooperate.
Cruising the Mediterranean
Wally Love is based in the Mediterranean year round, with charters running through the Balearics, Sardinia, and the wider western Mediterranean. Ibiza and Barcelona both work as embarkation points, which makes her a practical choice for guests building an itinerary around the Balearic islands or hopping across to the Italian coast.
Summer brings the steadier thermal winds that a performance yacht like this one is built to use, while shoulder-season charters can trade some breeze for quieter anchorages.
