About Windquest
WindQuest is a 26.25-meter (86-foot) sailing catamaran built in 2014 by JFA Chantier Naval, with naval architecture and interior design both by Marc Lombard. She carries up to 8 guests across 4 cabins and has run the same core crew since her launch.
Her shallow 2.3-meter (7’7″) draft reaches anchorages many deeper-draft yachts can’t, and she won the International Superyacht Society’s Best Sail award in the 24-40m category the year she launched.
She spends her season in the winter Caribbean, working the Leeward and Windward Islands as well as the BVI and USVI.
Guest Accommodation
Guests are accommodated across 4 cabins for up to 8 people: a forward master suite on the main deck with a king bed, a private terrace, and a five-head steam shower, plus three further en-suite double cabins.
A crew of 4 to 5 runs the yacht, the same team that has looked after her since her 2014 delivery.
Onboard Amenities
Air conditioning with individual cabin control and Wi-Fi run throughout, alongside an Apple TV-based entertainment system with a 36-inch projection screen and surround sound in the main living area.
Each cabin has its own TV, and an aft-deck projection screen turns the cockpit into a movie venue after dark. A washer/dryer, teak decking, and an outdoor yoga space are on hand for longer charters, with a stationary bike and basic resistance equipment available on request.

Cruising Performance
Twin Yanmar diesels of roughly 380 to 410hp each sit in WindQuest’s aluminium hull and composite superstructure, enough to hold a 10-knot cruise and push into the low teens flat-out under power. That’s a separate figure entirely from her sailing record, a logged 25 knots in ideal conditions.
A cruising range of around 1,000 nautical miles comfortably covers inter-island hops across her Caribbean season, including stops as far afield as Nassau in the Bahamas and Montserrat.
Toys & Water Equipment
The onboard toy list covers the standard range for Caribbean island-hopping:
- A 4.5-meter Zar tender with a 60hp outboard
- Waterskis for adults and children
- A wakeboard and kneeboard
- Two 2-person kayaks
- Two stand-up paddleboards
- Snorkelling gear and fishing equipment
- A six-person floating bar
