About Cataleya

Cataleya is a 34.5m/113’2″ custom-built gulet, launched in 2009 and most recently refreshed with a 2025 refit, following an earlier refit in 2020. Based year-round out of Sumpetar on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast, she takes a crew of 6 and has room for 21 guests spread across her nine cabins.

Different brokers describe her as either a sailing yacht or a gulet, but Cataleya is best understood as a classic Croatian gulet: her rig complements her cruising speed rather than driving it, with the same 9-knot figure given for both cruising and maximum speed.

Guest Accommodation

Cataleya’s nine-cabin layout is unusually generous for a yacht of her size: four double cabins, three triple cabins and two twin cabins accommodate up to 21 guests in total. A crew of 6 runs the charter, a lean complement in keeping with her relaxed, gulet-style operation.

Onboard Amenities

Cataleya is well equipped for warm-weather charter in the Adriatic. An on-deck jacuzzi and a shaded aft deck dining area are among her most consistently confirmed features, alongside full air conditioning and Wi-Fi throughout. Interiors favour warm, polished wood finishes, and a separate bow sun area gives guests a quieter spot to relax away from the main deck.

Cruising Performance

Cataleya cruises at 9 knots, powered by a single 540hp Caterpillar engine, a modest, displacement-style setup more suited to comfortable Adriatic cruising than outright speed. She operates year-round in Croatia, departing from Sumpetar, with no evidence of chartering outside Croatian and wider Adriatic waters.

Toys & Water Equipment

Water toys on Cataleya are modest rather than extensive: brokers list a kayak and dinghy as her standard equipment, in keeping with her overall character as a comfortable, relaxed charter yacht built for a traditional Adriatic sailing holiday, not a toy-heavy activity charter.
