About Son Of Wind
The 138 ft (42.3 m) gulet Son of Wind was delivered in 2021 and blends classic Turkish gulet character with a genuinely modern build. She accommodates up to 10 guests in 5 cabins, based year-round in Göcek on Turkey’s southern coast.
Son of Wind suits families and groups of friends who want deck-led living over formal indoor entertaining. Her large flybridge and spacious sun terraces put outdoor time at the center of the charter experience.
Guest Accommodation
Son of Wind sleeps up to 10 guests across 5 cabins: a master suite, 3 double cabins, and 1 twin cabin. Every cabin includes a private en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, satellite TV, and a music system.
A crew of up to 6 supports the full guest list, covering a captain, chef, deckhands, hostess, housekeeper, and mechanic. This cabin mix works well for multi-family groups who each want private, well-equipped space.
Onboard Amenities
Onboard amenities on Son of Wind include high-speed Wi-Fi and satellite TV throughout, plus a surround sound system in the main saloon. Air conditioning runs across every cabin and lounge area, keeping the yacht comfortable through Turkey’s warm summer months.
A cinema room and TV lounge give guests an indoor option for quieter evenings, while the alfresco dining area and outdoor lounge keep the focus on deck life during the day. The large flybridge adds a further layer of open-air space for sunbathing and panoramic views.

Cruising Performance
Son of Wind’s low fuel consumption reflects her efficient, modern build beneath the classic gulet lines. Twin 650 hp engines give her a comfortable 12-knot cruise, with a 16-knot top speed available when needed.
This pace suits the sheltered bays and short hops that define Göcek cruising, where the goal is usually a quiet anchorage rather than covering long distances quickly.
Toys & Water Equipment
Son of Wind’s water toys are led by a Jet Ski and 2 tenders (3.8 m and 4.8 m with outboards) for beach runs and transfers. An inflatable trampoline and floating water pad give younger guests plenty of options at anchor.
The rest of the toy box covers a broad mix of activities:
- Canoe and paddleboard for calm-water exploring
- Wakeboard and water ski equipment
- Seabob for underwater gliding
- Inflatable platform and kneeboard
Son of Wind Charter Locations
Son of Wind is based in Göcek and cruises the Turkish Riviera, including Fethiye, Marmaris, and Bodrum, with access to nearby Greek islands. This stretch of coast is known for sheltered bays and crystal-clear water, ideally suited to her relaxed, deck-focused style.
Guests looking for a slower-paced charter with plenty of swim stops and quiet anchorages will find Göcek’s cruising grounds a natural match for Son of Wind’s gulet character and layout.
