About Vita Dolce

The 32 meter (105 foot) sailing gulet Vita Dolce was custom-built in Turkey in 1997 by Caique and has since undergone several refits, most recently in 2018, with further updates reported through 2021. Constructed with a traditional wood hull and superstructure and rigged as a ketch, she carries up to 10 guests in 5 cabins with a crew of around 4.

Formerly known as Dolce Vita, Vita Dolce is permanently based in Nice on the French Riviera, giving guests easy access to Monaco, Cannes, St Tropez and the wider Côte d’Azur coastline. Her broad teak decks and classic gulet styling suit groups who want a relaxed, traditional style of cruising paired with contemporary interior comfort.

Guest Accommodation

Vita Dolce accommodates up to 10 guests across 5 en-suite cabins, typically configured as a full-beam forward master suite, two double cabins and two twin cabins. Sources vary slightly on exact bed configuration, with most reporting a mix of king, queen and single beds across the cabins.

Each cabin has its own en-suite bathroom, and a crew of around 4 looks after guests throughout the charter, handling navigation, housekeeping and meal service.

Onboard Amenities

Onboard, Vita Dolce offers air conditioning throughout the cabins and saloon, along with Wi-Fi for guests who want to stay connected during the charter. The open-plan salon and dining area sit in the raised deckhouse, with large windows that keep the interior bright.

Vita Dolce is powered by a single Cummins engine producing around 330 horsepower. She cruises comfortably at 8 knots, a pace that suits her traditional gulet character and relaxed approach to coastal cruising around the French Riviera.

Reported top speed varies between roughly 9 and 12 knots depending on the source, so guests should treat cruising speed as the more reliable figure for planning itineraries.
